Workforce development

During my tenure on the Mid-Atlantic Board of Directors, we strived to create one of the best workforce development programs in the country. We worked hard to give our members the resources they need to grow as superintendents, and to develop young people as future employees on the golf course.

That work included hosting First Green events for educators, starting apprenticeship programs, producing a video to spark interest in young minds, and hiring a consulting company to help see our ideas through. Browse the resources below and feel free to take an idea back to your chapter.
